The time has finally come. The end of my ISM journey - what a bittersweet moment. Original work is all wrapped up, mentorship coming to an end, and final presentation night just days ahead.
For a quick recap of what has been going on - for these past two weeks during class, students have been giving their final presentation night rehearsals to a live audience in front of our peers. This version is shortened, lasting only around 15-20 minutes, whereas the real presentation hits around 20-25 minutes. This presentation pretty much goes over our entire ISM journey - starting from the very beginning of getting into the class and our acceptance, trailing to the fall period of ISM consisting heavily of research and interviews, first locking in our mentorship, to our final original work processes. It goes over all of our key takeaways from this class and should provide heavy insight and reflection of your personal journey of growth and development in this class.
I have finished my original work (business pitch deck + website) - the next step is for my mentor to look over the final product and evaluate it. This week is my rehearsal for the presentation, and the actual FPN recorded version is also due this week. Pretty much after this week, my ISM journey is complete. To say it was a bumpy ride is an understatement - there were many highs and many lows, but being a part of this process itself was one of the biggest gifts. This may be my last blog under the ISM school year, but I want to continue the original work I did and make it my own personal project - so hopefully, this won't be the last blog on my digital portfolio either. Until next time, see you. :)
