ABOUT ME
My name is Nandini Mangalapalli and I am a current junior at Heritage High School in Frisco, TX. As a student of the Independent Study and Mentorship program, I aspire to be a successful entrepreneur, striving for quality leadership, initiative, and excellence at all times. To prepare me in my journey as a young business entrepreneur, I have always strived to actively contribute to my school community and prove my spirit through participating in organizations/competitions such as Varsity Tennis, Business Professionals of America, VASE, and several others. Outside of school, I enjoy advocating for women's rights, to which I use my gift in Sync with Pink, a student-led breast cancer fundraiser organization, as well as Project Luminate, a blog bringing light to unrecognized issues in society. I am also an upcoming speaker of a TED talk about the generational effects on society in the future. Working under a mentor in the ISM program, I hope to gain work experience by studying their actions and work ethic.
MISSION STATEMENT
My purpose here on Earth, then, is to do simply nothing more than leave a positive impact on the vast community we call society. In the trail I leave behind me, I hope not to chase after monetary or personal gains for pleasure and stature, but to do better and be better for the people around me. I aspire to deepen my understanding of the business field and gain the skills required to be a successful entrepreneur by pushing myself to new limits every day to serve others. By working under a successful mentor, I hope to cultivate the creativity, independence, and motivation it takes to be a self-sufficient business model and inspire others in my journey through the ISM program.
